Happy New Year

In our last post for 2011 I wanted to share a photo of our new family tradition for Christmas Day.
 The Turducken. A Turkey, stuffed with a Duck, stuffed with a Chicken and wrapped in bacon (all de-boned and with 3 different stuffings).
Excessive? Yes, but it was soooo delicious.
Needless to say there were plenty of leftovers to share with friends on Boxing Day and beyond.

    Cathy, ha ha, I must admit I do like Master Chef, however can't take credit for the Turducken other than putting it in the oven. Our local butcher makes them. Too easy!!
